Age-Friendly Jefferson County
Did you know that Jefferson County is officially designated as an Age-Friendly community? The designation is an acknowledgment of our inclusive, accessible, and supportive community which works to strengthen the well-being of all residents.
Jeffco Prosperity Partners (previously Jeffco Human Services Foundation) is a fiscal sponsor for Age-Friendly Jefferson County. Previously known as Jefferson County’s Aging Well Project, Age-Friendly is focused on developing and implementing strategies to create inclusive, livable communities through sustainable partnerships and integrated services.
Aging is not lost youth but a new stage of opportunity and strength.

Community Assessment Survey
With more than one-half of the Baby Boom generation now age 50 and older, the nation is increasingly becoming populated by older adults. To better prepare for this aging population, Jefferson County conducts the Community Assessment Survey for Older Adults to assess the strengths and needs of its older community members.
